Zack's Completed Paisley Shirt + My New Boxers!

Readers, Zack's shirt is finished!

Here's a closer look:

Zack tried it on yesterday evening and it looked great.  Here are some pics of Zack in the shirt and apologies for the fluorescent lighting.  We all loved the way it looked on him.

Now, I had roughly half a yard of the cotton paisley left and, badly needing some new underwear, I whipped up a pair of paisley boxers for myself this afternoon.  That's not inappropriate is it? (he he)
These have bias trim along the hem and outer edges (made of the same paisley fabric).

Boxers are a great way to use up fabric remnants.  I made a second pair using fabric left over from a short sleeve shirt I'd made last summer (below) -- it's one of my favorites.

I used the same pattern (McCall's 3438, view E) for both.  I hope to whip up a few more pairs of boxers later in the week.

In closing, friends, what do you usually make with your fabric remnants?

Have a great day, everybody!
